Once in a while it does the soul good to tuck into something that is pure indulgence. One could argue that peanuts are protein and milk is full of calcium but I’m not sure that argument would sway the health/clean eating brigade in the case of this milkshake. I have written that this recipe will serve 4 but I suspect that it would be nearer 2 people -especially if they are young or don’t give two hoots about their waistline.
- 250ml milk
- 225g vanilla ice cream
- 150g smooth peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- To serve Extra ice cream and chocolate brownies
- Place the milk, ice cream, peanut butter and vanilla extract in a liquidiser and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and add a scoop of ice cream. To serve, crumble over some chocolate brownies.
